Great Billing Playground Redevelopment – BPC27102025

Billing Parish Council invited tenders for the redesign, supply, and installation of the Great Billing Playground. The specification required that all submitted designs include the following key elements:

• A climbing frame with slide
• One bird’s nest swing
• Two cradle swings
• Two flat swings
• A scramble net log climber
• A trapeze swing
• Benches
• Wet pour safety surfacing, with the option to use different colours to indicate age appropriate areas

Deadline for submission of tenders was 12:00 noon, 5 January 2026

The contract was awarded to Wickstead Leisure at a cost of £48,240.00 plus vat.  The award notice can be found here
