We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to the Billing Summer Fayre today! 🎉

Important updates:

🚧 For stall holders:
Please be aware there may be roadworks at the bottom of the village this morning. We’ve been advised by the roadworks team that they should be completed by 10:00am, with access fully open from lunchtime. Please allow a little extra time just in case.

🌡️ Weather-related updates:
Due to the very high temperatures forecast today, some of our suppliers have made difficult decisions in the interest of safety:

🐾 The donkey rides and petting zoo will not be attending, as the supplier has taken the decision to ensure the welfare of the animals.

🏰 Elliotts Bouncy Castles will also not be attending. They have made the difficult decision due to safety concerns for children. In hot weather, inflatable surfaces—especially slides and activity centres—can become extremely hot, increasing the risk of friction burns, overheating, dehydration and other heat-related illnesses.

We understand this may be disappointing, but safety must come first.
