Billing Parish Council – Grants to Local Community Organisations

Billing Parish Council has the statutory authority to provide financial support to local community groups, charities, voluntary organisations and initiatives that deliver clear benefits to Billing and its residents.

Our approach to grant funding is designed to be:

Billing Parish Council is proud to have supported a variety of community projects over recent years. If you would like information about grants previously awarded, please contact the Clerk.

Below are just some of the fantastic initiatives we’ve been able to help:

Little Billing Pocket Park Volunteers Group: – £1000.00 – To support the volunteer group with maintaining Little Billing Pocket Park including items such as gravel, plants and machinery.

Semilong Community Exchange: – £2790 – Towards the cost of room hire of Bellinge Community House, craft items and catering for two days per week. July – October.

Billing United Football Club: – 14th July 2025 – £1550.94 – To purchase two sets of goals to be used at Great Billing Pocket Park.

Cre8Change: – 13th October 2025 – £5500.00 Towards to cost of room hire of Bellinge Community House, craft items and refreshments for two days per week. October – March

Outside In Theatre Group: – £240.00 To provide subsidised tickets for parish families (residents) to attend an inclusive creative experience for local families during the half-term. The project aims to support children’s creativity, confidence and emotional wellbeing through immersive storytelling and hands-on craft activities, while also offering positive shared experiences that strengthen family relationships.
