Join us to create and maintain the beautiful local space that is the Little Billing pocket Park.
We’re looking for local parishioners to help with improving our community area that benefits all local residents.
There are lots of jobs to do including:
- Planting new native bulbs, herbs, shrubs and trees to encourage greater biodiversity
- Clearing litter
- Pruning trees and undergrowth
- Forming new mixed hedgerows
- Mowing the verges and recreation areas
You don’t have to have green fingers and it’s a great chance to get out in the fresh air and meet your neighbours!
All age groups are very welcome including youngsters under adult supervision.
We meet on Saturday mornings for just two hours – from 10 am until 12 noon.
The volunteering dates for sessions in 2021 (subject to possible Covid 19 restrictions) are as follows:

- 13th March
- 10th & 24th April
- 8th & 22nd May
- 12th & 26th June
- 10th & 24th July
- 14th & 28th August
- 11th & 25th September
- 9th October
- 13th November
- 11th December
We meet by the green container opposite the local shop in Valley Road. Please wear stout footwear or Wellingtons and bring gardening gloves.
